General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all offers and services provided by Manuel Mohorovic Photography, owner Manuel Mohorovic, Raiweg 4, 8108 Dällikon, Switzerland. By booking a service, the customer agrees to these terms.

2. Services Offered

Manuel Mohorovic Photography offers the following services:

• Photography workshops (landscape, dog, portrait, event)
• Photo trips, including overlanding & off-road
• Business photography and drone shoots
• Image editing, retouching, and photo products

The exact scope of services is defined by the respective offer as described on the website or individually agreed upon.

3. Conclusion of Contract & Booking

Bookings are made via online booking, form, or email. A contract is concluded through:

• a deposit of 30% or full payment of the service, and
• written confirmation of the order by the provider.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are in CHF (Swiss Francs) and include statutory VAT.

Payment methods:

• Bank transfer
• TWINT
• Cash payment by prior arrangement

Standard payment deadlines apply for photo trips. For online bookings, payment is due immediately.

5. Cancellation & Withdrawal by the Customer

Cancellations must be made in writing via email. The following cancellation terms apply:

a) Multi-day workshops & photo trips

• Cancellation 59–30 days before start: 30% of the participation fee
• Cancellation 29–8 days before start: 50% of the participation fee
• Cancellation from 7 days before start or no-show: 100% of the participation fee

b) Half-day and one-day workshops

• Cancellation up to 21 days before start: 30% of the fee
• Cancellation up to 7 days before start: 50% of the fee
• Cancellation from 7 days before start: 100% of the fee

Rebookings may be possible in exceptional cases but are not guaranteed. Taking out travel cancellation insurance is recommended.

6. Cancellation by the Provider

In the event of illness, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances, a workshop or photo trip may be canceled or postponed. In such cases, the customer will be offered an alternative date. If no suitable solution is found, the customer will receive a voucher for a future booking. Further claims are excluded.

7. Delivery & Image Rights

Photos will be delivered within 10–20 business days (depending on the size of the assignment) via an online gallery.

File formats: JPEG and/or AVIF. RAW files are generally not provided.

The customer receives a non-exclusive right of use for private purposes. Commercial use is not permitted unless agreed in writing in advance and appropriately compensated. Commercial licensing depends on the type and scope of use.

8. Provider’s Rights to the Photos

Manuel Mohorovic reserves the right to use all photos taken for his own purposes (e.g. portfolio, social media, advertising). The customer agrees to this use. For photos of minors, consent from legal guardians will be obtained in advance.

9. Liability & Insurance

Participation in workshops, trips, and outdoor shoots is at the participant’s own risk. The provider is not liable for accidents, damages, or loss of personal belongings.

Insurance (travel, accident, theft, etc.) is the responsibility of the customer. The provider is not liable for data loss or technical errors unless caused by gross negligence.

10. Jurisdiction & Applicable Law

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Dällikon (Canton of Zurich), Switzerland.

11. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these GTC be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally valid provision that most closely reflects the economic intent.
